No to coercion and violence – Yes to dialogue

We the silent majority, men and women from across the political spectrum, supporters and opponents of the proposed judicial reform, call for immediate dialogue to end the worsening crisis.

We have experienced many disputes in our 75 years of existence and have been able to resolve them. We have also seen how coercion and violence can tear our nation apart.

The dispute around judicial reform threatens to go beyond the limits of legitimate discourse and we fear that it could spiral the State of Israel into a civil war, heaven forbid.
